TREASURERS REPORT.

The Borough Treasurer reported as follows on the borough finances at last night’s Council meeting ; “ During the mouth I have paid into the district fund account the sum of 8s 4d, and £1 ros into the cemetery account. The Bank balances to-day are; District fund account, £1 6s lid at credit; cemetery account, £39 as 6d at credit.

“Separate Accounts.—(ln Interest account, 3s gd; sanitation account, £7B 12s 8d ; cemetery account, 17s 6d. (At debit) General account, £76 9s yd ; library account, £3 9s 3d ; reserves account, £27 13s gd; gas works account, 17s 2d. “ Most of the rates are now paid, and the few remaining ones will be dealt with by the Magistrate at the next Court sitting.”
