FOXTON RACING CLUB.
MEETING OF STEWARDS. A meeting of stewards of the Foxton Racing Club was held in the Club’s office last night. Present: —Messrs F, E. Jenks (chairman), O. Robiusou, C. Robinson, E. Ball, H. Witchell, C. Hunt, Dr Mandl, and the Secretary (Mr W. Gray). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs W. E- Barber and G. Coley. Mr Rimmer’s tender of ,£3B 5s 6d for repairs to buildings, etc., at course was accepted. Accounts amounting to ,£l3 2s 3d were passed for payment. The following new members were elected : Messrs A. P. Easton, W. Easton, A. Lazarette, F. S. Easton, M. E. Perreau, J. Madden, and E. A. Coley. Other minor matters in connection with the forthcoming meeting were arranged and the meeting terminated.
