The weather was splendid for the concluding day of the Tara-tahi-Carterton Racing Club’s meeting. The attendance was large and some interesting racing was witnessed. The following are the results : Parkvale Hack Hurdles. — Whakaweira 1, Rosegrove 2, Gaelic 3. Dalefield Hack Handicap.— Long wood 1, Merrie Frank and Merrie Emerald, dead heal 2.
Telegraph Handicap.— Merchantman 1, Gold Battery 2, Purakau 3. Taratahi Hack Handicap. — Sea Queen 1, Merry Goer 2, Gladiole 3.
Clareville Handicap. — Clemora 1, Iranui 2, Mataari 3. Grandstand Hack Welter. — Floater 1, Bercola 2, Contour 3. Maiden Hack Scurry.—Ebonite 1, Seaweed 2, Royal Knight 3.
Carterton Welter. —Merchantman r, Waipuuuia, Ambrosian 3.
