THE CRIPPEN SENSATION.
Dondon, Nov. 6. The appeal of Crippen, the Camden Road murderer, was on the grounds that the identity of the corpse had not been established, and that the Crown’s rebutting evidence was wrongly admitted. Mr Tobin, K.C., explained that the return of the brief was a mistake through a misunderstanding. After counsel had spoken for four and a half hours, the appeal was dismissed after ten minutes’ consideration.
