This gentleman was untiring in his efforts to further the Society’s interests, aud the very satisfactory position the Society now occupies is due, to a very large extent, to Mr Walsh’s assistance, particularly in regard to scenery. We would suggest that as a mark of appreciation of what Mr Walsh has done the Society should make some small presentation to him. Special mention is also due to Mr Tarr for his assistance in painting scenery. We are submitting a set of amended rules to govern the Society aud consider that it would certainly be in the Society’s interests to adopt them in toto. In conclusion we desire to congratulate members on the very successful year aud express the hope that the coming one will be equally successful.” The balance-sheet showed that the receipts for the year totalled £73 14s 4d, made up of door receipts £73 ios iod, and members’ subscriptions £2 2s 6d.
