ROMAN CATHOLICISM AND POLITICS.
Sydney, Oct. 23. Cardinal Moran, referring to the attitude of the Catholic Church towards politics, said it was absolutely independent of understanding with any political leaders. He hoped Catholic voters would long maintain an independent attitude, and vote against men insulting their religious convictions.
