HEMP MARKET
The High Commissioner'cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows : —The hemp market is lifeless at about quotations already given. Good fair spot, 10s ; fair, ,£2l 10s; Manila, £2O 15s; forward shipment about same, expect no immediate change; Manila output 25,000 bales ; stock, New Zealand hemp, 343 tons.
