POLICE COURT.
At the local Police Court yesterday morning, before Messrs P. J. Heunessy and G. H Stiles, J’s.P., John Taylor was charged with being found drunk in a public place, and also with using threatening behaviour. He pleaded guilty to both charges, and was convicted and discharged on the first count and convicted and fined cos, in default 4S hours’ imprisonment, on the second charge. Charles Evens, charged with drunkenness, did not appear, and was convicted and fined 10s, or 24 hours. Frank Coyle was charged with drunkenness, second offence within six mouths, and with committing a grossly indecent act. He did not appear, and was convicted and fined 20s, or 48 hours’ on each charge.
