WARRNAMBOOL ROAD RACE. Meehourne, October 2. The Warrnambool road race resulted Piercy (Victoria), 47 min. 1, McSweeney (Westralia), 17mm. 2, Perrett (N.S.W). 45 min 3The winner's riding time was rohrs imm 2isec. The fastest time was put up by Pianto (Westralia) namely phrs 30mm 4&sec. .«( The race was won by a length and a half, the third man being only a few feet away. Twenty thousand people witnessed the finish. The weather threatened at the start, a very strong northerly wind blowing, but afterwards improved. There were 355 starters, a record for the race. Walsh and Neilsou, the New Zealanders, were scratched.
