FILLING HANSARD.

Between June 28 and September 30th the Premier’s contribution to Hansard was 4497 inches. For that period the Hansard total is 2943 double-column pages. It is computed that this represents about 2,500,000 words, an average of over 30,000 per member. This enormous output makes nearly a mile of print, slightly wider than the Herald column. In superficial measurement the loquacity spreads to about a quarter of an acre. It is sufficient to cover a section with a frontage of Loft with a depth of 190 ft.
