SCARLET TROUBADOURS.
TO-NIGHT. Hamilton’s Scarlet Troubadours will make their first appearance in the Public Hall, Foxton, this evening, at 8 o’clock. This company is written of as being full of splendid talent, and it has proved popular in every town it has visited. It is a strong aggregation of fourteen performers, and the costumes are said to be a feast of delight. The choruses and marches are all the latest. Notable among the singers is Master Hamilton, a boy with a beautiful voice. Highland dancing is a speciality given by Miss Daphne. Miss Zella Wrayford is a sweet singer ; also Miss Iris Hamilton. Miss Trixie Kelly sings “ Marjorie,” and Mr Hamilton will be heard in the famous “ Good-Bye ” song of Tosti’s. The Kelly sisters, in their double song and dance, entitled “ Bayou,” create enthusiasm. Little Olive is a sweet singer of lender years, and so, too, is Miss Stella Kelly, who sings “Somewhere” (a beautifully illustrated song). The performance concludes with a butterfly dance by four little girls. The whole entertainment is arranged and under the direction of Mr A. Hamilton.
