Wellington’s B representative team deteated the ManawatuHorowhenua combination at Palmerston North yesterday by 19 points to 11, after a remarkable game. In the first ten minutes the city men raced all over the combined team, and had a sixteenpoints lead before their scoring career was checked. From that point out the balance of play gradually turned in favour of the local men; especially in the second half. They could not overtake the big lead, and within a few moments of time a penalty goal by Ryan put the issue beyond doubt.
