HOROWHENUA MEETING. The first day of the Horowheuua Racing Club’s annual meeting was held at Levin yesterday. Notwithstanding the bad weather the attendance was good. The following are the results ; Flying Hack Handicap.—Penza i, Prancer 2, Tina Toa 3. Park Stakes Handicap. Multiple i. Dervish a, Kareroa 3. Maiden Hack. Vibration i, Merry Frank 2, Varna 3. Horowbenua Cup.—Sir Frisco I, Bismarck 2, Bourrasque 3. Welter Hack Handicap.—Torpoint 1, Rangikapua 2, Rangikura 3Hack Hurdle Handicap.—Turn 1, Rosegrove 2, Maharanui 3. Electric Hack Handicap. Nukuhau x, Moreykoff 2, Turna 3-TO-DAY’S EVENTS. (Bv Tei.KORAPH — Sx’ECIAI. TO HIiKAI,!)). Levin, This Day. Ohau Handicap.—Turna 1, Merry F'rank 2, Niwaru 3. Levin Handicap.—Kareroa 1, Ascalon 2, Multiple 3. A man named L. Stewart, of Marton, was kicked in the saddling paddock by Sir Frisco yesterday. Stewart was unconscious for some time but gradually recovered, and no serious results are anticipated.
