WHITEBAIT NETS.
Chkis'i'ciiukch, August 27
Two whitebaiters who went to Wellington to interview the Minister of Marine have reported to their fellows at Kaiapoi that the use of a net with an orifice area of seven square feet will be allowed. There has been a good deal of discussion in regard to the proposal for reducing the size of the net, and the Minister’s decision means that last year’s regulations will be continued.
