The Rev D. C. Bates wires as follows at noon to-day Westerly heavy gale veering to southerly heavy gale ; very heavy rain may be expected ; probable heavy flood; glass fall, but rise fast after 20 hours; and expect very high pressure. Sea increasing after 10 hours ; sea very heavy ; tides good.
