OBITUARY.
MRS ROSE McGIEE, AGED 67. The death occurred at the residence of her husband, at half past two on Thursday afternoon, of Mrs Rose McGill, wife of Mr John McGill, ot Union Street, Foxton. The immediate cause of death was an attack of pleurisy and pneumonia from which the deceased lady had been suffering for the past fortnight. The late Mrs McGill was a native of Ireland, having been born in the County of Deunigal in 1843. After residing in Ireland for some time she shifted, with her husband, to Dumbarten, Scotland, and was a resident there until immigrating to New Zealand in 1886. On arrival in New Zealand she immediately came to Eoxtou where she has resided ever since. The deceased lady leaves a husband and two grown-up sous, Denis and Patrick to mourn their loss. In common with their many friends the Herald extends its sympathy to the bereaved family. The funeral took place this morning, the service at the graveside being conducted by the Rev. Father Kelly.
