THE FOXTON AMATEURS.
The local amateurs are at present actively rehearsing the comedy-drama “Biow for Blow,” which it is intended to stage at the Public Hall Foxton, on Wednesday, September 21st. The following is the caste of characters: --Lieutenant Linden, Mr A. McCall ; John Drummond, Mr F. D. Whibley ; Josiah Craddock, Mr J. Golder; Charley Spraggs, Dr. Adams; Dr. Grace, Mr G. S. Fowler ; Mr Bolder, and Mr Kenward, Mr K. H. Furrie ; Sergeant Brent and John, Mr R. Bright; Alice and Mildred Craddock (twin sisters), Miss Hennessy; Lady Linden. Miss Levett ; Kitty Wobbler, Miss Kempton ; and Mrs Mousley, Miss Slattery.
