SKATING.

There is plenty of amusement in store for those who patronise the local rink. On Wednesday week, 24th inst., a football match on skates will take place between a team selected by Mr Peter Robinson and one selected from the rink. This match should attract a large number of spectators. The rink will be open to-morrow afternoon for ladies only, and on Thursday at 7.30 p.m, ior the general public. All who intend to take part in the carnival are requested to attend the rink for practice on Thursday.
