“KLEPTOMANIA.”
FRIDAY NIGHT. All those who want to enjoy a good hearty laugh should not miss the performance to be given in the Public Hall on Friday evening by the local amateurs. The play is full of funny situations, and the audience will be kept amused from the rise of the curtain until its fall. In their previous appearances before the footlights, the local amateurs have always put up very creditable performances, but the production of “ Kleptomania ” on Friday night promises to be staged on a higher level than any of the previous ones, as those taking part in the play are having the assistance during the week of Mr Phil Walsh, the well-known Irish-American comedian. Tickets for the performance are going off very well, and given fine weather the School Committee should receive a very substantial amount towards the cost of beautifying the school grounds, as a result of the entertainment. Tickets may be obtained from the school children, the prices of admission being 3s, 2s and is.
