THE FOXTON AMATEURS.
PUBEIC HAEE, FRIDAY NEXT. At the Public Hall on Friday evening next the local amateurs will stage the three-act farcical comedy, “Kleptomania,” which they have had in careful rehearsal for some time past. The whole of the proceeds from this performance will be devoted to the improvement and beautification of the school grounds, and as local citizens will, by attending the performance, be able to kill two birds with one stone —get a good show for their money and also assist the school committee to make the local school grounds a beauty spot —there should not be a vacant seat in the hall on Friday evening. On every occasion in which our amateurs have appeared before a Foxton audience the performance given has been well spoken of and Friday night’s entertainment promises to be well up to the standard, as those taking part have spared no effort for the successful staging of the play. The full caste of characters will be found in our advertising columns. The prices of admission are 3s, 2s and is, and tickets can be obtained from the school children.
