THE CRIPPEN SENSATION.
L.ONDON, July 25. The Daily Mail states that Crippen and the girl £e Neve went to Margate on July 9th, and crossed to Bologne next day in an excursiou steamer, thereby avoiding examination. They were next seen at a hotel in Bruges, and later in Brussels. The captain and stewards of the Montrose are satisfied of the identity of the suspects on board that vessel. They informed the police by wireless, and the information is believed to be correct. The steamers Laurentic, carrying Inspector Drew on board, and the Montrose are now in communication by wireless. The officers on the Montrose are doing their utmost to prevent the suspicions of the runaways being aroused. They are being watched for fear they might commit suicide. The passengers have not been informed of the suspected identity. The Montrose sailed two days after the Laurentic. It is reported that the arrest of Crippen and the girl has not yet been confirmed.
