Now is the time to spray fruit trees. The most effective winter spray, Neptune Red Oil, has proved itself the most economical and best on the market. The local amateurs have all arrangements for the production of the farcical comedy, “Kleptomania,” well in hand and are rehearsing on every possible occasion in order to ensure that the production will be a success. The whole of the proceeds will be devoted to improving and beautifying the school grounds, and as it is for such a good purpose the play is sure to be well patronised. Tickets for the performance, which takes place on Friday, August sth, may be obtained from the school children.

Mr A. Jonson is greatly attached to two fox terrier dogs. Elsewhere in this issue Mr Jonson tenders his thanks for their recovery.
