GIRL ABDUCTION.
London, July 22
Aldo Cellis and Alexander Berard were remanded on several charges of procuring girls. One who assumed the name of Doris Williams, aged 18 years, was employed in January at a photographer’s shop in Wellington. The prosecution alleges that Cellis and Marie, his paramour, induced the girl to go to Sydney and subsequently to Buenos Aires and London. It is also alleged that a Wellington woman, whose name is known, has booked her passage.
