PARLIAMENT.
Sir Joseph Ward states that the Government proposed to submit legislation this session by which provision will be made to meet the case of the Farmers' Cooperative Distributing Company with regard to the damage done to its depot in Wellington through the proximity of the State Coal Depot, or any other company having an alleged grievance against the State. It is announced by the Premier that the House will be given full opportunity this session of coming to a decision regarding both totalisator and bookmakers.
