Mr Martin Wiuiata, of Fevin, i 5 an interesting letter to Mr F. J. Merson, of the same town, gives the following testimony to the good behaviour ot the Maori representative football team that is now on tour in New South Wales, and playing matches under Rugby rules:—“lt may be of interest to you to know that the general behaviour of our Horowhenua and Manawatu boys, both on and off the field, is one of the highest order. I am only too proud to relate the fact we have played in almost all the matches. The committee is thoroughly satisfied with the display shown by the above. Though the team has suffered a few defeats yet it is not disgraced by foul play and bad conduct or otherwise. Enjoying the fullest extent of stay here.
