FOXTON RACING CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Foxton Racing Club was held in the Club’s office last night. Present: Messrs Jenks (chairman), Dr. Mandl, Hunt, Howan, Ball, Gray, and Keith (secretary)

A letter was read from the Secretary of the Marton Jockey Club advising that a conference of delegates from country clubs would be held at Marton on June 29th to discuss matters affecting country racing clubs. It was decided that Messrs A. Keith and G. Gray be appointed delegates to represent the Foxton Club at the conference.

The Secretary was instructed to obtain a ton of top dressing for course and enclosures.

Several accounts were passed for payment and the meeting terminated.
