THE BOOKMAKER.

Wellington, June 27. The anti-Gambling Association intends to organise a national deputation to the Prime Minister, asking for a repeal of the law legalising bookmakers. The Wellington Ministers’ Association to-night passed a resolution warmly approving oi the strictures passed by Mr Justice Cooper on the Gaming Act, so far as it concerns the licensing of bookmakers.
