BULL FIGHT HORRORS.
Lisbon, May 29. A maddened bull leaped the barrier during a bull fight at Santarem. The guards were unable to shoot owing to the panic-stricken crowd surrounding them, and many were trampled under foot. Forty were severely injured. The bull escaped into the open country.
