FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, ” “ The Libraries and Mechanics Institute Act, 1908,” and the “Rating Act, 1908” and all amendments thereto, the Foxton Borough Council hereby notifies its intention to make and levy a general rate of three pence in the £, and a Library rate of one-sixth of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value as shown on the Valuation Roll of all the rateable properties in the Borough of Foxton, also a sanitation charge of sixteen shillings per pan on all house property within the nightsoil area, on Monday, the 13th day of June, 1910, at the ordinary monthly meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, situate in Main Street,'such rates to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1910, and terminating on the 31st day of March, 1911, and the said rates and sanitation charge to be due and payable in one sum, at the Town Clerk’s Office on the first day of July, 1910. Notice is hereby also given that the Rate Book is now open for inspection by ratepayers, and the following estimate of receipts and expenditure for the year 1910-1911 has been approved by the Council.
