Tlie memorial services at the Anglican churches on the Continent were attended bv numbers of influential persons in the' European capitals. Many services were hold in other places on tho Continent and il-o in the colonies. A dinner party at BucTingham Palace was attend d by sixty guests, M Picliuu (French Ambassador) and Mr Roosevelt wore the only non-Royalists. Afterwards King George gavo audience to the visiting suites.
