FRANK DEVONPORT’S DRAMATIC COMPANY.

Mr Frank Devonport’s .Australian Dramatic Company produced the sensational American drama, “ The Webb of Fate ” at the Public Hall last night. There was a good attendance, and the company were well received. Tie staging of the play left nothing to be desired, the scenery being firstclass, and far away better than that used by the majority of dramatic companies on tour. The different characters were well sustained, and the manner in which the piece was received by the audience, proved that it was appreciated. Mr Devonnort intends paying Foxton a return visit in about a month’s time, when he will stage “ Gone beyond Recall.”
