ANOTHER DEPUTATION FROM THE ONTARIO DOMINION ALLIANCE.
By a unanimous standing vote the Ontario Brandi of the Dominion A 1 fiance, at its annual convention held at Toronto on 17th February last, decided to request the Ontario Government to repeal the three-fifths clause for a majority vote. The resolution embodied several other amendments, and a deputation was sent to wait on the Government. The last resolution to be passed by the Convention was one protesting against the insertion of liquor advertisements in newspapers and periodicals, and asking publishers to purge their columns of all such advertisements.
