GARIBALDI
Rome, May 6. The fiftieth anniversary of Garibaldi’s departure to relieve Naples was celebrated in many towns. Signor Luzatti, the Premier, in the Italian Chamber of Deputies, euologised the late King Victor Emmanuel, Mazzini, and Count Cavour. Of Garibaldi’s 1083 followers, 169 are still living. The Chamber increased their pensions to £BO each.
