ELLIS RECAPTURED.

Wanganui, April 18

The boy Ellis, who escaped from gaol, was captured by a policeman this morning. The latter was sent in the train north in case the prisoner might get in at one of the stations, and when the train was slowly ascending the Brunswick Hill Ellis was seen to board it and was duly arrested. [The boy Ellis, 16 years of age, was arrested in Foxtou on a charge of stealing a bicycle. His parents leside in Wanganui, and he has relatives at Bulls and Foxtou.]
