EVANGELISTIC MISSION.

An important evangelistic mission begins in the Presbyterian Church to-morrow eveuingr The preacher to-morrow evening will be the Rev. Q. K. Aitken, the pastor of the church, who will take as his subject “ The Door, Where and What it Leads to.” On Monday, and following evenings throughout the week, the Rev. James Pattison, convener of the New Zealand Evangelistic Committee, will be the preacher. Mr Pattison comes with a good reputation as an evangelist; he has conducted several missions throughout New Zealand with most excellent results; he received his training for this special work in America. We are assured that the mission will be carried along common-sense lines, and on these grounds we have no hesitation in advising our readers to attend and hear the message the preacher has to give. We are told that Mr Pattison is a " young man’s man,” and has a special message for young men. The young men of Foxton, we are certain, will do well to attend and hear what Mr Pattison has to say, as it may be to their advantage. There will be no collections taken up during the week meetings, and a hearty invitation is extended to all.
