BOWLING CLUB.

A committee meeting of the Foxton Bowling Club was held in the Mayor’s room on Thursday afternoon. The Mayor presided and there were also present Messrs Fraser, Hornblow and Witched. It was decided to communicate with Mr Harrison, of Eltham, re laying down the green. The committee were of opinion that it would be more economical to have the work done by day labour. It was decided to hold over the question of fencing till Mr Harrison had been consulted. It was decided to open an account at the Bank of New Zealand to be operated upon by the Chairman and Secretary.
