LICENSING BENCH.

Marton, To-day,

At the Licensing Bench to-day, Mr Cooper represented Mr Muuro who applied for a transfer of the license of the Family Hotel, Foxton. The application was opposed by the police and NoLiccuse League. The latter petition was thrown out, not being in accordance with the Act. The application was granted but the Magistrate said the licensee must look on the past as a period of probation. At the annual meeting the Bench will look very carefully into the police report.
