Berein, March 5

Weber, a popular satirist, married in London recently the widow of Major von Schoenebeck, who was shot by Captain von Goeben at the military barracks at Alleustein, Prussia, in 1907. Captain von Goeben confessed that he committed the crime in a frenzy of love for Madame von Schoenebeck, and committed suicide. Madame von Schoeuebecke was arrested as an accomplice, but the trial was not proceeded with owing to differences of opinion among the medical experts as to her mental condition. She has now been arrested in Berlin for inciting to and participating in the murder. The trial is arousing profound interest in Germany.
