FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

A meeting of the Foxtou Harbour Board was held at Palmerston N. on Saturday when there were present:—Messrs G. H. Stiles (chairman), P. Heunessy, Tolley, and Gardener. A deputation, consisting ot Messrs Bnick, Crabb audTenuent, from the West Coast Trading Company, waited on the Board with reference to the wharf to be built on the lease occupied by them, and pointed out that everything was in readiness to commence operations pending the permission of the Board. —-It was decided, after some discussion, that permission be granted them to erect a wharf on their leasehold at a rental of ,£5 per annum. The meeting then terminated, there being no further business.
