STRANGE SUICIDE.
Auckland, Feb. 21
The dead body of Charles Gilbert, a store-keeper, was found in a ditch beyond Kaukapakapa with several stabs in the left arm. In his pocket was a blood-stained knife. A paper inside his hat bore the following;—“Too done up to go any further, I have lost my coat and all its contents,’’
