FOXTON RACING CLUB.

meeting of stewards,

A meeting of stewards of the local Racing Club was held in the Club’s office on Tuesday evening last. Mr W. K. Barber presided. The following stewards’ duties were defined for race days:— Messrs O. Robinson, Dr Mandl, and K. Ball, lead in placed horses ; Mr G. Coley, bookmakers; number board, Messrs Robinson and Howau ; blackboard, Messrs T. Rimmer and W. Gray. The following gentlemen were elected members of the Club: —• Messrs H. Witchell, W. Petrie, and T. Bowe.

One account was passed for payment. The Course Committee reported that all the appointments, including new electric bells, were in order for the meeting. It was reported that everything pointed to a most successful meeting.
