Our reader;: will •'‘.tv i a meeting for the above purpose was held some time ago and the preliminaries were'disposed of but the matter was allowed to drop. Those interested intend to carry the affair through this time. We understand that Mr Gibbs will offer special terms in reference to acquiring the grounds Adjoining his property iu-Pack Street, and Mr Climie, C..as generously offered to superintend the construction of the green, etc., free of cost. We hope there will be a large attendance at the meeting on Friday next, and that the necessary steps will be taken to put down the green in time for the autumn sowing.
