MARRIAGES.

A quiet wedding was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church by the Rev. Father Kelly yesterday, when Mr Joseph Francis Macedo, of Feilding, was united to Dora Ethel, third daughter of Mr William Wright, of Foxton. The bride was attired in a neat brown tailormade costume and hat to match with turquoise blue and brown trimmings. The bride was attended by her two sisters, Misses Rose and Daisy Wright, and was given away by her brother, Mr O. Wright (of the P.O. Savings Bank, Wellington), owing to the unavoidable absence through sickness, of her father. Mr G. Wright acted as groomsman. Mr and Mrs Macedo left Foxton for Napier, where the honeymoon will be spent, after which they will take up their residence in Feilding, where Mr Macedo is in business. At St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Auckland, on Monday last, Mr A. Imrie, eldest son of the late Mr J. Imrie, was united in matrimony to Fanny, youngest daughter of Mr William Vodrey, of Staffordshire, England. After the ceremony a number of guests were entertained at the home of the bridegroom’s mother, when the usual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs Imrie arrived in Foxton last night, where they will take up their residence.
