MANAWATU LICENSING COMMITTEE.
QUARTERLY MEETING
The quarterly meeting of Mauawatu Licensing Committee was held at Marton on Thursday. Present: Messrs C. C. Kerr, S.M. (chairman), F. Purnell, H. Sutcliffe, B. P. Lethbridge, R. K. Simpson, and A. C. Perry.
Transfers of licenses were granted" to T. M. Holland, Endymion Hotel, Awahuri; W. J. Conder. Railway Hotel, Marton Junction; and Thos. Harvey, Railway Hotel, Turakina. . It was resolved that the Committee requests the licensees of Wytes, Post Office and Family Hotels, Foxton, to carry out the recommendation of the police report with reference to painting and re-papering the hotels within three months-
