SUICIDE FORSEEN BY
HUSBAND
Several cases of tragedies being seen in a dream have come to light during the last few weeks, another was told to the West Sussex coroner recently, Mr George Cox, of Barnham, described how he dreamt that he saw his wife crouching behind a hedge waiting for an approaching train. He awoke suddenly and discovered that his wife had disappeared. Soon after, her mutilated body was found at a level crossing half a mile away from the house. She had walked there in the pouring rain, attired only in a nightdress and without shoes, and threw herself before a train. The woman leaves a baby four months old. A verdict of suicide during temporary insanity was returned.
