SCULLING.
London, December 3. A number of African sportsmen have offered, through the British South Africa Company, a thousand pounds for a match between Arnst, the world’s sculling champion, and Barry, the English champion, the race to be rowed on the Zambesi ' River, at Victoria Falls, in ' August; the winner to take £750. Barry has accepted the offer. Tom Sullivan, the.ex-New Zealand sculler, .is willing to accompany Barry as a trainer. Mr Guy Nickalls, the wellknown ex-sculler and patron of rowing, will control the race.
