"THE DREADNOUGHT."

We are in receipt of the first issue of “The Dreadnought,” the official organ of the Manawatu NoLicense party. It is published monthly and circulated by post to every home throughout the electorate. It is edited by Mr Win. Ritchie, M.A., and as an educator

on the great reform question should be an invaluable silent messenger. We wish it success, because it is published at considerable selfsacrifice on the part of these who have no vested interests to call up to their assistance. “ The Dreadnought ” is launched to uplift humanity and batter and bombard an enemy which is destroying child life and prostituting manhood and womanhood. May “The Dreadnought” and its gallant crew never hoist the white feather; may its commander put the telescope to the blind eye when signalled to compromise, and rake the enemy fore and aft until the flag of victoiy floats majestically over the Manawatu. Here’s to “The Dreadnought” and its gallant crew!
