TENNIS.
The local Tennis Club visited Shannon yesterday afternoon and played some enjoyable games with the Shannon Club. They were very hospitably entertained. The following are the details of the scores:—Messrs Clemett and Hennessy 30 v Messrs Taylor and Cooper' 24, Messrs Phillips and Stiles 30 v Messrs Dunckley and Schmidt 26, Misses E. and F. Edwards-30 v Misses Austin and Dunckley 21, Mrs Phillips and Mr Fraser 15 v Mrs Dalton and Mr Schmidt 30, Mr Clemett 30 v Mr Taylor 18, Mr Hennessy 30 v Mr Dunckley 15, Mr Phillips 30 v Mr Cooper 28, Mr Stiles 28 v Mr Schmidt 30, Miss E. Edwards 11 v Miss Austin 20, and Miss F. Edwards 18 v Miss Dunckley 20.
