A NOTABLE PRODUCTION.
For some time past the TaylorCarrington management have been beseiged by the enquiry: “ Why don’t you give us East Eynne?” So in response to the request they are staging the very latest dramatisation of this famous story at the Public Hall on Thursday night nest. Former versions of East Eynne have been somewhat gloomy, but this fault has been remedied in this production by the introduction of. a large amount of comedy. Among those specially engaged for this play is a talented child-actress, who appears as “Willy Carlyle.” Miss Ella Carrington, as the ill-fated heroine, is assisted by Mr Charlie Taylor and an effective cast. The drama, which is well staged, ends with an illuminated tableau showing little “Willy” among the angels.
