DRUIDISM.
A very pleasant outing, as well as an enjoyable social meeting, was enjoyed by several members of the local Druids Dodge last night, who went over to Devin for the purpose of paying a friendly visit to the local Dodge in that township. The visitors were most warmly received, and at the conclusion of the Dodge business were equally hospitably entertained. During the latter proceedings P.G. Gardener presented Bro. P.G. Thompson with a handsome collar which had been subscribed for by the local members as a suitable token of their recognition of the good work he had done. The recipient very feelingly acknowledged the handsome present and trusted that he would he spared for years to come to assist in the good work. The health of the visitors was warmly received and duly acknowledged by Bro. A.D. Wynd. During the evening several musical items were rendered, two of the visitors (Bros. McKnight and Reade) doing their share. A little after the bewitching hour of midnight, the visitois returned home, and as in going, so'also in returning, the weather, coupled with the bright moonlight, was most delightful.
